The Daily Mission (“the app,” “we,” “us”), operated by BEPO Services, helps families give their kids a clear daily routine of chores, learning, and rewards. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
We collect only the information needed to run the app: the parent's account details (name, email address, and optionally a mobile phone number), each child's first name and schedule, and the daily activity, chore, reward, and progress data the family creates in the app.
Your information is used solely to operate the app for your family — showing each child's daily schedule, tracking chores and rewards, and sending the notifications you ask for. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
The Daily Mission offers optional SMS text reminders for parents — for example, when a child has photos waiting for approval or a star request to review. These are transactional messages only; we do not send marketing texts, and SMS is never required to use the app.
You opt in by checking a box on our SMS sign-up form. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or reply HELP for help. You can also turn notifications off at any time.
Your mobile phone number and SMS consent are never sold or shared with third parties, and are never shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the reminders you request, through our messaging provider (Brevo).
The app is set up and controlled by a parent or guardian, who provides the limited child information used to run each child's schedule. This information is used only to operate the app for that family and is never sold or used for advertising.
The Daily Mission is directed to children, and we take the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) seriously. This section is the notice we provide to parents.
A parent sets up and controls the account. Only a parent or guardian creates the family account, adds each child, and provides the child's information. We do not knowingly let a child create an account or provide information on their own.
What we collect from or about a child, and why: the child's first name, birthday/age, and a sign-in code (to run and personalize their routine); their chore, behavior, reward, and learning progress (to show their day and track rewards); and, only if a parent turns it on, a photo of a finished chore (never the child) that is deleted as soon as it's approved and never kept past 24 hours. We do not collect a child's precise location, and we run no third-party advertising or analytics.
We do not share children's personal information except with the service providers that operate the app for us (hosting, database, messaging), and never for their own marketing.
Your rights as a parent. You may review the personal information we hold about your child, ask us to delete it, and refuse to allow further collection or use — at any time — by emailing support@beposervices.com. Turning off a feature (like proof photos) stops that collection going forward; closing the account removes the family's data.
We keep each type of information only as long as it is needed and then delete it automatically; details are in our data retention practices, available on request.
The home screen shows local weather. To choose the right forecast, the app uses an approximate, city-level location: either a city or ZIP a parent enters in the admin settings, or, if none is set, the general area our hosting provider (Netlify) derives at its edge from the network connection. We never read GPS or precise location from any device, and no location is read from a child's device. This approximate location is used only at the moment weather is requested to pick a forecast — it is not stored, not logged, and never shared. Weather is fetched through our own server, so no outside weather service receives your device's address. A parent can clear or change the location at any time in the admin settings.
Access to the app requires a parent account and password. Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Netlify) under their security safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that operate the app on our behalf (hosting, database, and messaging), and only as needed to provide the service, or where required by law.
You may update your information, opt out of SMS (reply STOP), or ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time by contacting us.
